Urban Decay 'Primer Potion' Sampler Swatches and Thoughts

Hey everyone,

Today I'm writing about the Urban Decay Primer Potion samplers which are now included in every Naked Palette box (as well as other palettes maybe...) The set comes with all four of their best-selling eye primers and I decided to swatch, test and photograph each one for you! Enjoy!
The samples come in a little booklet with descriptions of each primer and what they are good for.
 Original. Dries invisible.
 Applies as a nude shade.
 Blends invisible!
Eden. Matte shade with some colour to it. Not great for all skin tones, but comparable to Benefit's "Stay Don't Stray" primer if you like that one.
 Quite a pale colour.
Definitely has a nice, matte finish.
Sin. A shimmery eyeshadow base designed to add some colour while keeping your eyeshadow in place.
First applied it looks very shimmery.
And does not disappoint! While it may not be what I look for in an eye primer, I can definitely see the appeal!
Anti-Aging. The most similar to the original but packed with benefits for aging skin.
Seems a tiny bit darker than original.
And while it appeared to blend out invisibly, it certainly did do some colour correcting which is great!

Overall, it is clear to me why these are bestsellers. They have that slick, silicone texture (which some hate, but I love!) and it definitely prolongs the colour, finish and look of your eyeshadow throughout the day. The sample sizes are also incredible! I think it's a great little sampler that could last for a good amount of time!

Hope you enjoyed reading!

Megan
