Today I'm reviewing Quo's "Electric Eyes" Eyeshadow Pencil review. Quo is a Canadian brand, exclusive to Shoppers Drug Mart. It's on the more expensive side for a drugstore product, but the quality is pretty good and it's comparable in price to other drugstore brands such as L'Oreal.
The packaging is pretty simple, it's a traditional wooden pencil which needs to be sharpened (no twist up here!) and the packaging matches the colour of the product. It even has a glittery finish to match the sheeny finish of the eyeshadow itself.
"Volt" is the pale pink shade on the left, and "Shock" is the purple shade on the right.
The pigmentation is pretty good, but what I love the most is the metallic finish, which almost comes across as glossy. Although I think the product doesn't last well enough for everyday looks, I think for costume makeup or a more editorial look these would be great. It can crease a bit, but when freshly applied it looks awesome.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend this product, especially when there are better products such as Rimmel's Scandaleyes Eye Pencils, but I think if you can find them and want a really glossy finish you should give them a try.
