Dior Addict It-Lash Review

Hey everyone,

With my last Sephora order I got a sample of Dior's Addict It-Lash Mascara. It's a deluxe sized sample so you can get quite a few uses out of it. Dior's website says:

"Dior Addict It-Lash can transform the eyes in a single flourish for a fabulous impact, as if by magic. Volume, length and the most extraordinary stylistic effects come together to achieve a fashion-forward, modern-day, doe-eyed look in an instant. With unconditional hold, easy to apply and easy to remove, it is the ideal mascara for women who want it all, and want it now."

It claims quite a lot, but it seems that their main focus is to advertise the coloured options of this mascara. There is a blue, pink and purple mascara which is very on-trend, although not necessarily everyday appropriate. It promises length and volume, easy application and removal and a 'lash transformation'.

The sample size came in a little sachet showing the full-size packaging.
The sample was different, however, in a plastic tube (although you can't squeeze it).
The brush is massive in comparison, but it is a sample. It looks very similar to Benefit's "They're Real" mascara, so we will see how the lashes look.
And of course there is a little "CD" embossed on the lid!
The actual packaging is similar to Dior's lipglosses and lipsticks which I think is a cute concept.
Before
After
It definitely separates and lengthens,  plus it held the natural curl of my lashes without needing an eyelash curler.
The formula was definitely drier than Benefit's "They're Real" mascara, which I actually liked.
I think overall it made quite a difference to my lashes.

Benefit's "They're Real" mascara retails for $29.00 at Sephora
Dior's It-Lash mascara retails for $32.00 at Sephora

I'm not sure if there is enough of a difference to justify the price, but if you can get your hands on a sample I'd definitely recommend it!

Have a good day!
Megan
