Products I Have Used Up and Mini Reviews

Hello, so when I packed up my residence room at university I had to make the decision of keeping or throwing out empty containers of products I had used up. Thankfully I kept them, so here is a review of things I have finished!

This Quo Nail Polish remover I have gone through several bottles off. Its relatively cheap, doesn't smell too strongly and does the job. Overall pretty average, but does the job for it's price... and it lasts forever!

Soap and Glorys "The Righteous Butter" is an excellent and very moisturizing body butter. It is thick and creamy, doesn't leave your skin sticky and smells AMAZING! I had a travel size from a gift set I received at Christmas but will definitely be buying a full size at some point!
L'Oreals Arginine Resist Hair Mask was actually the first deep conditioner I have ever bought for my hair. I found that while being stressed during the school year my hair was falling out far more than I had noticed before (It usually happens during the winter for me, but not as much as this past year). I bought this to help strengthen my hair, and although I didn't notice a difference in breakage, it certainly made my hair softer and smelled lovely.

Clinique's Take The Day Off eye make-up remover is one of the best I've ever used. Lots of people don't like oily eye make-up removers, but this was my second bottle and I really think it works wonderfully. I preferred it to the more expensive Lancome version, and although I'm trying a Bourjous eye make-up remover now, I would definitely buy this again.
Sally Hershbergers Super Argan Serum was a lovely, conditioning oil that lasted forever and worked really well. I used it on the ends of my hair while it was still damp, and sometimes to control frizziness on dry hair. A little goes a very long way, and this bottle lasted forever! However, if you use too much it can make your hair look a bit greasy. I will definitely be buying this again.
The Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm is a really good moisturizing lip balm. It's peppermint scent is refreshing, and the formulation isn't too thick. I like that it's transparent, it's a perfect base for lip products. I used it all up and although I would buy it again, I don't feel it does a much better job than Vaseline which is far cheaper. The only bonus for this product is the fact it's in lipstick form, which is easier on-the-go, and the packaging is more appealing too.
The Essie Good-To-Go Top Coat is one I have already re-purchased. It quickly dries your nail polish and leaves your nails with a nice shiny finish. It certainly helps nail polish dry much faster and makes the colour last longer before chipping. In Shoppers Drug Mart this will set you back about $12.00, which is a bit pricey in comparison to other brands, but you can find it cheaper from Target and Walmart.

The Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is a wonderful daily moisturizer. I find it is too thin for nighttime use, but before I had a night cream I did use this both day and night. It leaves a slight residue on the skin but I got over that pretty quickly. The formula is perfect for all skin-types and although it does hydrate it doesn't work miracles on severely dry skin. I find it to be a good base for makeup and although the picture makes this one look full, it's because I had already thrown out and repurchased this product! I have been through several travel size bottles, and this is my third bottle of the moisturizer. The only downside is the cube-like packaging, it makes it bulky and hard to pack for traveling!
The Body Shop Brazil Nut Body Butter is an incredibly moisturizing product. It is very thick, so it doesn't work that well for jumping out of the shower and then immediately putting clothes on. You need to take some time to put this moisturizer on, but once you have and it has sunk in your skin feels amazing! It definitely has oils in it, it does leave your skin with a slightly oily residue, but it works so, so well. It also smells amazing! This product saved my legs over the winter and fixed any dry spots!
